Academician Guan Xiaohong, Dean of the School of Electronic and Information Engineering of Xi'an Jiaotong University, shared the new opportunities in the new infrastructure with the example of information-physical fusion system (CPS). Academician Guan explained the connotation of CPS from several aspects, including the development trend of information science and technology - "two and one fusion", the scientific problems, goals and main directions of CPS, and took the example of predicting, preventing and controlling the epidemic of Xinguangxuan Pneumonia to show the CPS's Great application prospect. Academician Guan pointed out that we should focus on key technologies such as 5G, Internet of Things, intelligent transportation, information-physical fusion and semiconductor chip design and manufacturing, and basic information sensing and acquisition in infrastructure construction in new infrastructure.
